"Skills Building for the Future” training courses are FREE* to attend and all reasonable costs incurred by participants will be reimbursed, including public transport, car mileage, ferry journeys and, where necessary, air fares, meals and overnight stays.

Expenses claim forms will be issued by the trainer at each course. Simply complete the form and return it to us with your receipts and you will be reimbursed by cheque, normally within 2-4 weeks.

*Courses are free for staff, volunteers, committee members etc involved with independent museums, cultural heritage groups and voluntary/community cultural heritage projects in the Highlands and Islands. If your organisation is out with these categories you can still take advantage of the training courses available, however a charge would apply - please contact the Skills Building Team for more details.
